Projects Volunteer - Nepal

Street Child is looking for individuals hoping to gain valuable experience in the development sector by undertaking an international volunteering role in Nepal. Street Child has identified that out of school children is one of Nepal’s main development issues, particularly those in marginalized communities. Street Child is currently seeking to expand and advance a series of projects in Nepal which intend to provide children the opportunity to access education that is inclusive, sustainable and life-saving.

Enterprise Volunteer - Nepal

Street Child Commercial was established in 2011 as a unique fundraising stream for Street Child in Sierra Leone. A series of shops and cafes in Sierra Leone create a sustainable source of income by turning a profit which is then re-invested into projects. We are seeking to create a similar model in Nepal and looking for an entrepreneurial Ambassador interested in leading this effort for between six to 12 weeks.

Sierra Leone

Research Volunteer - Sierra Leone

Street Child is seeking applications for individuals who would like to support the organization through research in Sierra Leone. This may be an opportunity to broaden your research skills or as part of your University dissertation. Whether you take on an independent research project, support our existing research or assist our monitoring and evaluation team there are many opportunities to get involved in research to help evaluate and further our programs including gender, disability, education, family business, street-connected children.

Teacher Training Program

We are looking for elementary or high school teachers of all levels of experience who are looking for an exciting challenge. You will travel to Sierra Leone during your summer break for 1-2 weeks where you will help us run some simple workshops, and work alongside our Sierra Leonean teachers.

Liberia

Research Volunteer - Liberia
